Professional career of Jean-Serge Mondo

A civil chemical engineer by training and after a post-graduate degree in management, I had the opportunity to meet a wide variety of professional environments and to exercise numerous functions.

Freelance engineer and consultant - owner of Sprl CATALYME.

  • September 2005 - December 2018.                        Vandeputte Group - Mouscron (B).      (detergents and linseed oil)

 

Successively Supply Chain Manager, Operations Manager, Industrial Manager and  General Manager of the Soap & Detergents division (180 employees – 60 millions EUR turnover), responsible for all but commercial activities, and for capital investments projects and relationships with unions.

Major achievements : 

  • Capital investments : 

    • Detergents mixing facilities in the BSM plant - France (2017)​

    • Replacement of mixing vessels for detergents production (2015)

    • New storage tanks (2014)

    • Reverse osmosis unit (2014)

    • 4.300 m² finished goods warehouse (2010)

    • Implementation of ERP software (2005)

  • Other achievements : ​

    • Preparation of annual budgets between 2006 and 2018

    • Implementation of a  PDCA improvement process with KPI's and action plans ( from 2006 to 2018)

    • Drafting of the division sustainable developement report (2014)

    • Follow up of mass balances and production losses (2008)

Deputy Genral Manager - responsible for company finance, HR and administration, reporting and business plans. (40 employees - 2000 turnover : 36 millions Euros).
